Aaaaahhhh, ooooohhhh, I haven’t blogged here in forever. Well obviously not literally forever. For a while. Well a month and a bit. That’s not too bad is it?
Not going to be an interesting blog. Because right now my life is being taken up with UCAS and applying to university. I have been checking my UCAS every two hours, hoping maybe it will change and I’ll get an offer somewhere. But nope. It just sits there, staring back at me. Mocking me.

Also Doctor Who happened. Have I talked about Doctor Who yet? Because dayum. I loved the second half of series six, but I did find the final to be a bit of a let down. Finals should make me cry and scream at the screen and be a complete emotional wreck. This won just sort of left me disappointed. It wasn’t even that confusing; everyone had already guessed most of it. Oh, the Doctor’s a robot. I guess that’s cool. At least Craig’s hat didn’t get destroyed. All very “meh”.
Anyway, that is all for now and I am going to the dentist. Yay.

I have this bookmark folder named “Places I want to go”. Ignoring the glaring grammar mistakes in that title, it contains, well, bookmarked pages reminding myself of places I want to visit one day. So I’m sharing some of them.
Big Epic Tour of Britain
I’m British, I’ve lived in Britain all my life, but the furthest away I’ve gone from home without leaving the country is Manchester. I want to visit all the touristy places like the castles in Scotland, and the sights in London. I’m going to go on a Beatles pilgrimage, visiting Abbey Road and Liverpool. And I’m going to visit Wales and go find Torchwood 2. I love the idea of travelling around the country that feels like home and discovering new things about it. And I have this lovely image in my head of sitting in an independent coffee shop drinking hot chocolate and reading a secondhand book I’ve just bought from a newly discovered book shop. Cliched I know, but it sounds lovely.
San Diego Comic Con
I’m a geek. Completely obsessed with Doctor Who. I love all kinds of sci-fi, to the extent that some of my earliest memories are watching Star Wars. And honestly Comic Con sounds like heaven to me. I rarely come across people equally as geeky as me, but to have a whole convention of them? And I’ve always wanted to do the whole cosplay thing, I have my TARDIS dress all planned out. I’m doing this. Even if I have to go alone, I’m going to Comic Con one day.
Amsterdam
This has been bookmarked twice so I’m guessing I really want to go here. I just have a general plan to travel around Europe, visiting museums and seeing the sights. Amsterdam is where I’ve planned out in the most detail though; I’ve even written a travel plan on Word that takes up several places. Did you know there is a clog making museum there? I want to go to a clog making museum.
The Mumbles
I’m not entirely sure where the Mumbles is. Or whether that sentence should have ended with “are” instead. I’m pretty sure it’s in Wales. I’m also pretty sure it exists. I have no idea what is there. I would just like to visit somewhere with the name “The Mumbles”. It sounds like some sort of adorable Time Lord name. All I have to go on for this one is that David Tennant once mentioned it in Doctor Who Confidential, so I presume it must be good.
